1 hour Recording Session
Sliding scale: $25 - $100+ Zelle preferred
Description
Schedule a session in my recording studio, once my younger brother's bedroom, now an acoustically treated, cozy space ideal for singers and other acoustic instruments. I'll make sure you are comfortable & well informed about the process of recording & mixing before we begin—great recordings usually require great vibes. The majority of my professional experience is as a performer & music teacher—i earned my Sound Engineering Certificate from Arapahoe Community College in May 2025. I'm hungry for practice, which is why this service has a lower available hourly rate than music lessons. If you and i really like each other and share a groovy musical vision, i might record or mix with you for free, and agree to share profit from our musical creation. Gear List Coming Soon
Scheduling & Payment Policy
If you need to re-schedule, contact me or do it through my website 24 hours in advance. This helps me plan my work days. If you feel sick, it's ok to cancel with less than 24 hours notice—respiratory illnesses are particularly nasty for singers like me, so please keep those germs to yourself :) If you feel sick but OK, we can change your in-person session to online. If you forget to attend a session, consider paying for it anyways—this often helps us take the things we're paying for more seriously. That said, i'm pretty flexible, just try to give me as much notice as you can. At the end of your first session, we'll discuss the sliding scale and how much you'd like to pay. My favorite way to be paid is through Zelle, which connects to many banking apps on a smartphone. You can also pay with cash, check, venmo, or paypal. As sessions continue, you may pay at the end of each session, or pay for a batch of sessions at once. Many folks pay at the beginning of the month for all the sessions they'll have that month. You can take lessons or record in my studio at whatever frequency works for your schedule. If your own financial situation changes for the worse, and you can no longer afford to pay the same amount for sessions, please talk to me about it. That's the whole point of a sliding scale payment system, to be flexible.
